The Hellenic Foundation for Culture has the honor of enhancing its further representation in four more countries. Specifically, notable personalities expand the HFC family abroad and support the work of cultural diplomacy, in order to spread the HFC activities in Albania, France, Cyprus and Russia.

The 8th International Simultaneous Short Film Festival Micro μ is about to be launched. The festival will take place at eleven cities in Greece and abroad simultaneously on the 13th and 14th of October.
A line up of 15 films from 15 European countries, including Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Spain, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands and United Kingdom will be screened during the 8-day event.
“Big Bang International Short Film Festival” is an annual event that aims to demonstrate thematic and fully completed cinematic suggestions through the cinematic style of the Short Film.
The internationally acclaimed artist Dimitris Athanitis and the award-winning lighting designer, Stella Kaltsu, are participating in the 36th International Fajr Film Festival, held from 19 to 27 April, in Tehran. This year 120 films are taking place at the Festival at 4 different contest fields.

The 13th Thessaloniki Book Fair, which took place at Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre, from 12th to 15th May, proved to be – despite certain difficulties – one of the most successful Fairs in recent years, as it was admitted by all the involved parties, attracting more than 54,000 visitors.
