On Saturday, November 28, HFC–Belgrade together with the Embassy of Greece in Serbia, the Greek National Tourism Organization and the Greek Business Association organized the event Days of Greece at the shopping center Stadion in Belgrade.
Hellenic Foundation for Culture – Belgrade organized language workshops for children and adults, drawing great interest. We played a quiz game on Greek culture, we learned the Greek language, we painted and drew and did puzzles … and there were prizes for the winners.
The exams for proficiency in Modern Greek are coming up this week. The HFC branches serve as exam centers for the proficiency exams given by Centre for the Greek Language (KEG). The KEG proficiency exams provide proof of proficiency that is recognized by The Greek State, the EU etc.
Good luck to all our candidates!
The semester is starting, which means that our Greek classes are starting up at the HFC branches in Trieste, in Odessa, in Belgrade, Bucharest and Alexandria. However, we are particularly pleased to announce that our branch in Alexandria will begin teaching Ancient Greek in addition to Modern Greek, starting this Monday, February 9.
