Odessa Jazz Fest 2015

Dimos Dimitriadis Quartet, with the support of HFC–Odessa, will participate in Odessa Jazz Fest 2015. The quartet will perform September 19, 2015 at 19:00 in the Grand Hall of  Odessa Philharmonic Society (15 Bunina Street). The event is sponsored by Mr. P. Bumburas of the Construction Company Gefest.

The complete program of the concert that will take place in the Philharmonic Society from 18:00 till 22:00 on September 19 features the following performances:

Big-Band (dir. E. Golovashin, Ukraine), 18:00-19:00.
Dimos Dimitriadis Quartet (Greece), 19:00-20:00.
Sharon Clark and the Chris Grasso Trio (USA), 20:00-21:00.
Authentic Light Orchestra (Armenia – Switzerland), 21:00-22:00.

A Poetic Journey from the Greek to the Universal

There will be a talk by Glauco Ciammaichella, followed by poems of Cavafy set to music and performed by Irene Brigitte (voice) and Giovanni Settimo (guitar).
Wednesday, 22 April, at 17:00 in the auditorium of the J.Stellini High School, Piazza 1 Maggio, 26, Udine.

Tsitsanis Concert

HFC–Odessa, to celebrate Greek Independence, presents an evening of music by Greek composers, with a special emphasis on Tsitsanis, whose 100th anniversary it is, at 18:00 in the Russian Theater of Odessa.

Chopin Fest – Tzovanakis Recital

HFC–Belgrade is pleased to announce our participation in the Belgrade Chopin Fest, February 26 to March 1, representing Greece with a recital, March 1 at 20:00, by Theodoros Tzovanakis.
Mr. Tzovanakis is a young, Greek pianist and he will perform the closing concert of the festival, playing works by Chopin, but also two rarely performed works by the Greek composer and legendary conductor of the New York Philharmonic, Dimitri Mitropoulos – Beatrice (1915) and Four Dances from Kythera (1926).

Real Time Composition – Berlin

HFC–Berlin presents “Real Time Composition” an event featuring music and dance by Greek artists living and working in Berlin.
Saturday, February 21 at 19:00 at Studio 1 in Kunstquartier Bethanien, Mariannenplatz 1, 10997 Berlin.
