Chopin Fest – Tzovanakis Recital

HFC–Belgrade is pleased to announce our participation in the Belgrade Chopin Fest, February 26 to March 1, representing Greece with a recital, March 1 at 20:00, by Theodoros Tzovanakis.
Mr. Tzovanakis is a young, Greek pianist and he will perform the closing concert of the festival, playing works by Chopin, but also two rarely performed works by the Greek composer and legendary conductor of the New York Philharmonic, Dimitri Mitropoulos – Beatrice (1915) and Four Dances from Kythera (1926).

We Speak Greek

The semester is starting, which means that our Greek classes are starting up at the HFC branches in Trieste, in Odessa, in Belgrade, Bucharest and Alexandria. However, we are particularly pleased to announce that our branch in Alexandria will begin teaching Ancient Greek in addition to Modern Greek, starting this Monday, February 9.
