17th Archaeological Documentary Festival – Belgrade

Hellenic Foundation for Culture in Belgrade takes part in 17th  Archaeological Documentary Festival, organized by the National Museum in Belgrade from March 31 to April 7, with the cooperation of foreign cultural centers and embassies in Serbia.

Showcase of Contemporary Greek Cinema – Niš

Hellenic Foundation for Culture presents, March 14-19, 2016, in Niš, Serbia a showcase of contemporary Greek cinema entitled The Family: Six Views. The purpose of the showcase is to introduce the Serbian public to contemporary Greek cinema, but also to open a dialogue on the importance and position of the family in contemporary society. POZIVNICA RUKOVETToday the Virgin Brings Forth: a Christmas concert performed by the Rukovet Choir. The program includes Byzantine and Serbian medieval Christmas hymns and carols and traditional Serbian and Greek songs.

The Rukovet Choir was founded in 1987 and is composed of: Dragan Mlađenović, director and founder of the choir, Milica Radivojević, director of the Alliluia Choir, Jelena Živković, violin teacher and Aleksa Vasić, baritone of the Belgrade Opera and classical singing teacher.

Days of Greece – Belgrade

On Saturday, November 28, HFC–Belgrade together with the Embassy of Greece in Serbia, the Greek National Tourism Organization and the Greek Business Association organized the event Days of Greece at the shopping center Stadion in Belgrade.

Hellenic Foundation for Culture – Belgrade organized language workshops for children and adults, drawing great interest. We played a quiz game on Greek culture, we learned the Greek language, we painted and drew and did puzzles … and there were prizes for the winners.
