The Hellenic Foundation for Culture welcomes in Tehran, 17 – 31December, 2017 the Greek artist Leonidas Giannakopoulos.
Mr. Giannakopoulos, represents our country in the European “Artists in Residencies” Program 2017 (AIR) organized by the European National Institutes of Culture in Iran (EUNIC-cluster Iran) in cooperation with the Iranian organization “Kooshk Resicency”. For two weeks, the Greek artist will create works on white surfaces at the famous Mohsen Gallery in Tehran, and on 19 December he will present his special technique at an event open to the public at the “Deegar Platform” amphitheater.
The program is funded partly by the European Union and is supported by the Embassy of Greece in Iran, the Heritage Management Organization with the kind sponshorship of AEGEAN AIRLINES.
