Thessaloniki Forum on Youth & Innovation

For the second consecutive year, the Anna Lindh Foundation and the Municipality of Thessaloniki in cooperation with Hellenic Foundation for Culture, the British Council and EUNIC, organize Thessaloniki Forum, this year entitled “Youth and Social Innovation,” in the Municipality of Thessaloniki’s facilities from Monday 30 November to Wednesday, December 2, 2015.
The work of the Forum will begin with presentations and workshops related to the second phase of the Young Arab Voices and wrap up with the workshop Think Social, Act Business.

Young Arab Voices: The program Young Arab Voices was created by the Anna Lindh Foundation and the British Council, to provide a forum for Arab youth to develop the necessary skills to participate in public dialogue, debate, and social media. In Thessaloniki the partners for the development of this program will discuss its expansion with the participation of young people from European Mediterranean countries.
Among the actors involved are the Council of Europe, UNESCO, the British Council, the Club de Madrid and Chatham House.

Think Social, Act Business: Workshop on Social Entrepreneurship which brings together representatives of the academic community, civil society and social entrepreneurs from Europe, Brazil and the Middle East. During the conference there will be workshops and discussions with the public, with the participation of European social entrepreneurs.
